Junip - Black Refuge

Who in this world doesn't know José González? Ok, you may not remember his name and who he is, but you certainly know a song named Heartbeats, that became very popular because it was used in a Sony Bravia comercial a few years ago (the one featuring a lot of colored rubber balls bouncing down a street).

It happens José González is a very talented artist, and although a lot of people only know him because of that song, I absolutely recommend his albums. But I'm not posting a song from his solo works today...

I'm posting a song from a band he founded in the late 90's - Junip. The trio, which consists of González on guitar and vocals, drummer Elias Araya, and keyboard player Tobias Winterkorn, crafts dark, moody, indie folk in the vein of their founder. They have a lot of good songs, but this one is my favorite:

I hope you like their sound! :)
