The 27 Club: Kurt Cobain

Nirvana was on tour in Rome during March of 1994, when a depressed and heroin addicted Kurt Cobain attempted suicide in his hotel room. He survived and flew back to the U.S. to enter a California rehab center, but escaped the facility after just 48 hours, disappearing into Seattle's drug scene.
A week later, on April 8, an electrician discovered the 27 year old in his family's Washington home. He had been dead for 3 days. Cobain's death certificate stated that his death was a result of a "contact perforating shotgun wound to the head", and concluded his death a suicide.

  1. That`s so sad that a lot of great musicians have left this world too early. I guess it´s the result of hard drug use.
"You know you´re right" is a great song. One of my favourites by Nirvana. Wasn`t it Kurt`s last song or something?

  2. he was quite a distinct man, his lyrics song and performance had a gleam of deep thoughts, its hard that in show business sometimes you have to "hide" your real feelings :c i just wish he would have stayed longer, woudl been awesome to hear more of his composition
